We Can NOT Wait

WE CANNOT WAIT UNTIL IT IS BLATANTLY OBVIOUS.

We cannot wait until it is too late.

It seems most of us feel something is not right, that many things are not right. We all seem to be in a state of unease.

These problems have grown so massive and complex, we have to work together.

We have to start working together!

We would be foolish if we do not.

We will not get a redo or a second chance. This is our only planet, and our societies. Let us error on the side of caution.

If we do not choose to be proactive, eventually something bad and ugly will happen with all these problems that we keep putting off and pushing forward, and it may happen sooner than we think.

We need to put the United back in The United States of America

and become a positive example to the world.

There are many problems, very difficult problems. The US National debt is at 120% of GDP and $265,000 per taxpayer, AI/technology becoming “artificially sentient” and having god-like intelligence and capability, Global Climate Destabilization, serious Political Division (domestic & global), War & violent conflicts, Growing poverty and hunger, global pandemics and outbreaks, a possible human related 6th global mass extinction event, Increasing Negativity towards the Future, and our Children being ever more stressed, anxious and depressed.

Every group seems to have a problem that they focus on and basically ignore or rationalize the other problems. It is easier to not acknowledge problems and go about your day, than it is to face the extreme complexity and the stress of them. All these problems need addressed. If we are not proactive, we will be forced to react when they become crises. These problems are so significant and complex that if we are not proactive, it would not be unrealistic to say they could lead to something like a dystopia that could go on for decades or much longer.

It is almost as if humanity has been infected with a type of “negativity virus” that is detrimental to each other and ourselves.

Human beings have capability as rational adults to allow logic and reason to guide our decisions versus detrimental emotions such as fear, greed, anger and vengeance. As a globally united species there is not a problem we cannot solve, especially if we let go of the idea of money and wealth as being a measure of success and Happiness and the Happiness you bring to others becomes the new measure of a good and successful life. This would represent a big step forward to become a better, more advanced and enlightened species. It is not impossible, if working in unison with the power of combined human intelligence, that all these problems can be solved and even within a few years.

However unpleasant and uncoordinated, Covid was proof, the globe can shift and turn on a dime.

It is inevitable at some point in the human time line, that we are either going to allow ourselves and our societies to deteriorate and collapse because of lack of cooperation and antiquated ways and ideas, or at some point we can access our rational intelligence, and let go of our petty differences and realize there is not a solvable problem that a united human species cannot solve. If society deteriorates, even the wealthiest will be living on a miserable planet and will feel unpleasant and worrisome effects. The human species has literally conquered the planet Earth. It is no longer a natural planet. It is an Earth dominated by humans wherever we can or wish to be. Being that we have accomplished conquering the planet Earth, let us choose to make this a wonderful, beautiful and peaceful place for everyone, as best as possible.

Imagine if the answer to our problems was an easier and a more pleasurable answer. All we had to do was just change our mindset. To let go of antiquated detrimental values and begin to trust and be kind to others. To wish the best for others, and the others want the best for us. LET US CHOOSE to make it the time where we start to work together and turn this planet into a wonderful, beautiful, peaceful place for everyone.

This planet can provide for everyone!

It would seem absolutely foolish if we did not try. It would seem absolutely foolish.

We have nothing to lose by trying to be nicer and kinder and more considerate to each other.

People who may feel threatened (unnecessarily), are the people who have accumulated significant wealth. But these people can still have happy wonderful lives. These people will still need to be leaders, but they can become leaders with compassion instead of driven by wealth, power,

exploitation and selfishness.

True happiness does not require wealth. True happiness can be found in some of the most simple things and can be found everywhere especially when spending time with people we care about. A simple and humble life can be more calm, peaceful, fulfilling, rewarding and gratifying than a life overwhelmed and filled by stuff and things.

This could be our time in human history when we have decided it is the time that we stop global devastation, pollution and exploitation.

That it becomes the time in human history that our species allows ourselves to cooperate, relax and enjoy all that our ancestors have worked extremely hard for and sacrificed so greatly for and begin to live more calm and peaceful lives on a more beautiful, sustainable planet.

We have done it. We have won. We have conquered this planet. We are the most dominant and successful species ever known with little outside threat to our kind.

The greatest threat to humanity are humans. It is all of us!

More specifically humans that are not cooperative, united or harmonious.

Why are we moving faster and faster? Even if we are able to travel in space, if we were to ever achieve light speed, we still would likely never even be able to get out of our own Milky Way Galaxy. The distance between stars is hard to imagine, but the distance between galaxies is far greater. Even if we were able to colonize the moon or mars, nobody is ever going to truly want to live on either of those desolate, lifeless, ugly and unsafe places. There is no place like home and we will likely never know anything better. We need to take care of this beautiful blue-green planet. We need to take care of each other.

We need to congratulate ourselves and start to slow down and relax, and be kinder to each other.
